Get to Know Dr. Steve Hu
Throughout his decade of experience, Dr. Hu has relentlessly pursued continuing education and advanced training in general dentistry, oral surgery, and laser dentistry. He aims to get to know all of his patients on an individual basis, and one of his favorite parts of his career is being able to listen to all of the unique stories they share with him! He’s also passionate about educating his patients on how oral health is connected to whole-body wellness. He takes a “slow and steady” treatment approach by encouraging his patients to improve their oral health by taking care of one tooth at a time. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Hu decided to become a dentist because he wanted to be able to help people smile with confidence and enjoy eating without experiencing discomfort. That’s why he has completed advanced education in oral surgery and general dentistry services, which has focused on restoring and protecting teeth.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Hu attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry for both his undergraduate and dental degrees. He is an active member of the Texas Dental Association and is a passionate student for life, which is why he regularly takes continuing and advanced education courses to stay up to date with the latest dental advancements.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Hu loves his family immensely, which includes his wife and young child. Whenever he isn’t at the office, he enjoys playing every sport from pickleball to basketball, doing anything competitive, like playing board games and fantasy football, and traveling. He especially loves immersing himself into new cultures and cuisines. Dr. Hu also enjoys riding motorcycles and has a stockpile of the worst dad jokes imaginable!
